January News from Messiah Missions Nanjangud

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Pastor John Madhan Mohan is just back from Trivandrum and Tamil Nadu ministries. Trivandrum has a population of 5 million and it is the Administrative capital of Kerala State. Tamil Nadu has 60-70 million population and the largest number of law breaking people in South India. It is notorious for infant mortality. Female infants are suffocated in the full buckets of water on the 6th day of birth. It is good that Messiah Missions is stepping in to the South for witnessing about Jesus as our delivering Messiah. Some of our co-workers here are very helpful for the saturation of the Gospel in these hilly regions.

Pastors and Missionaries Seminar – January 2013

Because of the distance between the Mission Stations we had to conduct the Pastors and Missionaries Seminar in different parts of south India: One in Thiruvanandapuram for South Thamil Nadu and South keerala and the another one in Nanjangud town North Tamil Nadu, North Kerala and South karnataka.

By the grace of our living God Jesus Christ, the only true God and Savior of the world, we could conduct a pastors Seminar on the 14th of this month in Battery Division.

They are:
Pastor Suresh Chethalayam – Bathery
Pastor Satish Chandra – Pulpalli
Pastor Thampi John Daniel — Thoduvatty
Among them, Pastor Thampi John Daniel is the representative of the Kerala Division.
Pastor Philip from Gundalpet
Pastor Anand Malavalli
Pastor John Madhan Mohan
Brother John Roy
Brother Christopher
Brother Mahesh Hosalli

Pastor Anand Malavalli spoke about the need of united prayer –intercessory prayer for the nation, not only for India but also for the United States. As the sacrificial support of the United States people of God only helped us to reach new souls for Christ. As in David’s days the riches were shared not only to the soldiers but also to the house keepers, the United States Messiah Mission prayer partners are also eligible for rich rewards from the Lord. Not only in eternity but also in this world also as the Lord will meet all their needs from the riches of the Glory in Christ Jesus. Pastor Philip emphazised the need of giving thanks to God as we stand in the beginning month of the NEW YEAR and it is the Lord to lead us through. He quoted Psalms 103:1-3: “Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.”

Brother Thampi John Daniel, as his full name goes, had a lot of things to say that when he goes to meet the tribal people in the Wayanadu forests he had to face wild animals, especially Tuskars and bears and also in the villages communal people use to tease and ridicule him. All the rest of the evangelists prayed for him as in Acts of the Apostles 4:28—31.

Pastor Siddaraju from Anjipura told it is pleasant to live together in unity in the presence of the Lord and requested next meeting should be in his village, though all could not come as it is an interior place without much conveyances.

Brother John was distributing covers to each of them participants for their family allowances and also the travelling allowance was given separately. Brother Christopher was responsible for the food arrangements. Delicious chicken Biriyani was served to to each and every one of the participants. Manasapriya also allowed to attend the meeting as she was considered the Representative from the first family of Messiah Missions as she is the beloved daughter of our Executive Director [International] Rev. Dr. Steven E. Ray
