August 2019 Report From Pakistan

Dear Brothers and Sisters, Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. God won’t bring pain into your life. However, God knows when you do experience pain; He can use your weakest moment to display His power. When you turn to Him in your weakness, He will fill you with His strength. Moreover, His strength is much more powerful than your own. What is your thorn? Rely on God to fill you with strength in your time of trial. His strength is capable of overcoming addiction, filling the ache of loneliness, pushing past discouragement and bringing comfort to soothe your grief.

“I must go on boasting. Although there is nothing to be gained, I will go on to visions and revelations from the Lord. 2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows. 3 And I know that this man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows— 4 was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell. 5 I will boast about a man like that, but I will not boast about myself, except about my weaknesses. 6 Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, so no one will think more of me than is warranted by what I do or say, 7 or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12-1-10

In 2 Corinthians 12 Paul is tormented by a thorn in his side. He begs and pleads with God to remove it but the thorn is not removed. Does this mean that Paul’s prayers are not answered? No, because there are two ways this prayer could be answered: either God could remove the thorn or He could strengthen Paul through the pain he was enduring Paul begs and pleads for God to remove the thorn from his side; he wants no more torment. Instead of removing it God says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

Nehemiah 1:11 Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this man.” I was cupbearer to the king.

We organize twelve prayers meetings during the month of August 2019. The eight prayer meeting was held in Christian home in surrounding area of Toba Tek Singh and we organize four special prayer meeting in our Saint James Primary School and Least of These Center. We share the Book of 2 Corinthians with our seventy male/female. We share the Good news with our brethren and share them how to make strong connection with heavenly Father, His Grace is sufficient for me.

Brickyard Christian Family Support Program:

Genesis 12:2-3 “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

The Christian families from Brickyard kiln are very happy that we visit them and share the Book of 2 Corinthians, give them food package. They thankful to your great love, prayers and continue support.

We shared the book of 2 Corinthians with them. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort. We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.

Least of These Center:

Job 38:4-7 “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone— while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?

Whenever the words “fear God” are mentioned, most people will think of the story of Job in the Bible. Job feared God and shunned evil, he stood witness for God during his trials, he earned God’s praise and blessings, and he lived out a worthy and meaningful life which is much admired by us today. Job Had a God-fearing Heart and He Did Nothing in His Life That Displeased God. Job Had a God-fearing Heart and Could Submit to God’s Sovereignty and Arrangements During His Trials. Job Had a God-fearing Heart and He Rebuked His Wife—He Knew Clearly What to Love and What to Hate, and He Possessed a Sense of Justice. Above are the manifestations of Job’s fear of God, and from them we come to understand that fear of God is not something that can be claimed with mere words, but instead it requires us to focus on our entry in the people, events, things and environments God arranges for us, and it requires us to emulate Job. In our daily lives, for example, we must take heed to shun all manner of temptations: There are some places of entertainment or places which can cause our hearts to become debauched and to shun God that we must not go to or have any contact with, and by avoiding these places we will be protected; when trials befall us, such as if a disaster occurs at home or a family member falls on hard times, then no matter what God does, we must never misunderstand God or blame God, but must be able to submit to His sovereignty and arrangements; when we are harassed and deceived by people, events or things, we must always uphold truth and justice, not be constrained by anyone else, and not go along with anyone’s defiance of God to the point where we even abandon God and walk away from Him. Job is our benchmark for our entry into the truth of fearing God. If we can all be like Job and bring the truth of fearing God and shunning evil into our lives, practice it and enter into it, and begin with the little things, then we will also frequently receive God’s guidance and blessings, and we will become God-fearing people.

Almighty God has blessed us with foods and school stationary to our one hundred and ten children at Least of These Center. The Children and Group members from LOTC are very thankful to you and your family. They said to you, “Thank you so much for your prayers and love.” The Children are blessed to know about Job ” Fear of God” Story. They also rejoice to know more new Biblical stories.

Saint James Primary School Evening Class:

Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth. The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward. But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression. May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.

We don’t always need words to get our message across. The skies “pour forth speech” and “reveal knowledge” yet have no words; nevertheless “their voice goes out into all the earth”. God’s handiwork is revealed to all. From the busiest, crowded city to the remotest, inaccessible places of the world, God has made it possible for everyone to know him (Romans 1:20).

The one hundred and ten children are receiving their Biblical education, formal education, educational material and food from SJPS. During the month of August 2019, God bless us with resource to provide formal education to our one hundred and ten children in our primary school. We facilitate one hundred and ten children with Biblical education and educational material.

Saint James Primary School Formal Education:

Psalm 5:12 Surely, LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. Listen to my words, LORD, consider my lament. Hear my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness; with you, evil people are not welcome. The arrogant cannot stand in your presence. You hate all who do wrong; you destroy those who tell lies. The bloodthirsty and deceitful you, LORD, detest. But I, by your great love, can come into your house; in reverence I bow down toward your holy temple. Lead me, LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies— make your way straight before me. Not a word from their mouth can be trusted; their heart is filled with malice. Their throat is an open grave; with their tongues they tell lies. Declare them guilty, O God! Let their intrigues be their downfall. Banish them for their many sins, for they have rebelled against you. But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. Surely, LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

The Children join the formal school after summer vacation. They enjoy vacation with their parent, relative and join our evening class. They came back in 16th August after seventy five day of summer vacation. They love to learn in their formal education. We facilitate 45 children in our formal education school. They thankful to your prayers, love and care.

Sunday School SJPS:

Revelation 1:7 “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”; and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”So shall it be! Amen.

John’s Vision of Christ. Revelation1:9-20 I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. 10 On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, 11 which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.” 12 I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14 The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance. 17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. 19 “Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later. 20 The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

As John opens the book of Revelation with a stunning description of the role, function purpose and plan of the triune Godhead, we discover that God’s only begotten Son is the alpha and omega.. the first and the last – the beginning and the end of God’s plan and purpose for mankind – Who alone is to be worshiped.

At Sunday School, we learn from the Book of 2 Corinthians during this month almost 70 children attend the Sunday school during this month. They thankful to your love, prayers and support. they are attending everyday class with joy and hope to learn more new lessons from the Bible.

Sunday School LOTC:

Nehemiah 8:10 Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Nehemiah wrote, “The joy of the Lord is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10). Praise teaches us to turn our eyes away from circumstances to the One who has the ability to heal, save, renew, and mend every broken heart.

Joy and Praise Provide Fresh Strength. There is a difference between happiness and joy. Happiness is something we experience for a moment and is often short lived. Joy is eternal. It comes only as a result of living a life of praise. Praise comes as a result of a heart that is overflowing with joy that may even come in lonely moments. Suddenly, you find yourself being comforted by the One who created you and who understands your grief and sorrow. You may feel as though you cannot praise God but if you will just take a step toward praise, you will sense God’s arms surrounding you.

At Sunday School, we learn the Book of 2 corinthians during this month almost 40 children attend the Sunday school during this month. We share the small hope Biblical Stories with our children. They are blessed and enjoy their Sunday school. They said to you, ” thank you so much for your prayers, love and presence in our missions.

The Gypsy Ministry:

Habakkuk 3:3-4 God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. His glory covered the heavens and his praise filled the earth. His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden.

Habakkuk’s Prayer 1 A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet. On shigionoth. 2 LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, LORD. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy. 3 God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. His glory covered the heavens and his praise filled the earth. 4 His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden. 5 Plague went before him; pestilence followed his steps. 6 He stood, and shook the earth; he looked, and made the nations tremble. The ancient mountains crumbled and the age-old hills collapsed— but he marches on forever. 7 I saw the tents of Cushan in distress, the dwellings of Midian in anguish. 8 Were you angry with the rivers, LORD? Was your wrath against the streams? Did you rage against the sea when you rode your horses and your chariots to victory? 9 You uncovered your bow, you called for many arrows. You split the earth with rivers; 10 the mountains saw you and writhed. Torrents of water swept by; the deep roared and lifted its waves on high. 11 Sun and moon stood still in the heavens at the glint of your flying arrows, at the lightning of your flashing spear. 12 In wrath you strode through the earth and in anger you threshed the nations. 13 You came out to deliver your people, to save your anointed one. You crushed the leader of the land of wickedness, you stripped him from head to foot. 14 With his own spear you pierced his head when his warriors stormed out to scatter us, gloating as though about to devour the wretched who were in hiding. 15 You trampled the sea with your horses, churning the great waters. 16 I heard and my heart pounded, my lips quivered at the sound; decay crept into my bones, and my legs trembled. Yet I will wait patiently for the day of calamity to come on the nation invading us. 17 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, 18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. 19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.

We share the food package with our gypsy brethren. They are thankful to your great love, prayers and support.
